Nov. 9, 2006 – The Nigel O. Hodge Foundation Fund at the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands is celebrating its 10th Anniversary at a recognition luncheon at 1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 12, at Marriott's Frenchman's Reef. Tickets for the luncheon cost $60. The portion in excess of costs will be donated to the fund to support the needs of children with cancer and other critical illnesses.
"This special anniversary is a celebration of the life of Nigel and is also an opportunity to showcase the talents of our young Virgin Islanders. Community members who were involved in the development of the Nigel O. Hodge Fund will be recognized at the lunch and recipients of assistance will share their stories," explained fund donor Josephine Hodge.
The funds are used to provide support for medical treatment and transportation for treatment not available in the U.S.V.I.
