Family Resource Center Will Hold Annual Gift Drive

Dec. 8, 2006 – Family Resource Center will be holding their annual holiday gift drive from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 16, at K-Mart in Tutu Park Mall. It is seeking volunteers to help solicit gifts for clients. If interested, e-mail Polly Watts at pollywatts@earthlink.net.
Below is a listing of items that FRC is requesting shoppers to purchase.
Younger Children's Toys and Supplies for Ages 1 12 years
board games, puzzles, dolls, books, electronic games, educational toys, child size chairs, activity tables (2), computer, crayons, coloring books, paint, socks (all sizes), underwear (all sizes). No guns or war like toys please.
Baby Items
diapers, pull ups, baby magic formula, baby powder, toilettes, baby bottles, baby safe toys
Older Children's Toys and Supplies for Ages 13 17 years
board games, books / diary, electronic games, computer, school supplies, knap sack, small stereo, disk man, fishing rod, gift certificate or card
Women – Shelter Residents and Clients of FRC
wallet, socks / stockings, hair supplies, magazines / books, lotion / cream, umbrella, night shirt, lipstick / nail polish, stationary, gift card or certificate
Shelter Residents Supplies
pillows, pillow cases, hangers, hampers, plastic shoe boxes, first aid kits, garbage bags, AM/FM radio (6), VCR tape re-winder, DVD players (2), digital camera, VCR's (3)
General Desk Supplies
pens, pencils, tape, paper clips, staples, white out, etc.
