Gemological Institute to Tour New Facility

June 11, 2007 – The Caribbean Islands Education Foundation Inc. and the Caribbean Islands Alumni Chapter of the Gemological Institute of America will hold a joint meeting and a tour of the new Rare Earth Studio classroom facility at 5:30 p.m., on Friday, June 15, at the Rare Earth Studio, No. 32A Dronningen's Gade, Suite 7, (upstairs, gated entry on Raadet's Gade).
All students and alumni of the Gemological Institute and any other interested persons are welcome to attend this special meeting. Promptly at 5:45 there will be an ecumenical blessing of the new education facility for teaching smithery of precious metals, lapidary and other special focus classes relative to creative art and craft forms for the multifaceted jewellery industry. Following this will be a brief meeting of the GIA with a report from the Nominating Committee.
