Café Amici to Exhibit Two Artists

"Creative Expressions at Café Amici," a one-day exhibit on the last day of Black History Month, will feature paintings by Jahweh David and Notnu. The event will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 29, at the restaurant in A.H. Riise Alley. The show will include a champagne reception with hors d'oeuvres, along with poetry and music.
David is a free-spirited 27-year-old, self-taught artist born and raised on St. Thomas, who has been painting for the past five years. She will be exhibiting her work for the first time. Robert "Notnu" Ellison is a self-taught artist and over 20-year resident of St. Thomas. He will present several paintings and works of wood.
