Veterans Affairs Increases Medical Travel Reimbursement

March 13, 2008 – All veterans are now entitled to 100 percent reimbursement for off-island travel for medical purposes. U.S. Virgin Islands veterans living in the British Virgin Islands are also eligible for this reimbursement. Veterans must have a scheduled appointment from the Vet Center to qualify, according to a press release from the Director of the Office of Veterans Affairs, Morris D. Moorehead.
