John Jones Defoe Dies at 70

April 30, 2008 – John Jones Defoe, also known as "Englishman," of Estate Glynn died at his residence on April 25. He was 70 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Florence; daughters: Cathy, Myrtle and Githinji; stepdaughter, Irma Jules, sons: Timothy, Desmond, Peter and Derek; and stepson, Curtis Jules. He is also survived by grandchildren: Jules, Ethan, Chloe, Keenan, Aiesha, Troy, Kiah, Wesley, Sienna, Zachary, Levi, Micah and Micheala; sisters: Catherine Burton and Theresa Mc Lawrence; brothers: Leo, Phillip, Emmanuel, Osmas and Leslie; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, May 6, at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
