District STEM Fair Opens at Sunshine Mall

May 1, 2008 – St. Croix public school students from Kindergarten to the 12th grade are displaying their scientific projects at the district's 2008 Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Fair beginning Thursday, May 1 and continuing through Saturday, May 3, at the Sunshine Mall's Lower Level, according to a press release from District Science Coordinator Rosa White. Judging of the exhibits takes place on May 1.
"We received and continue to receive a lot of support from parents, corporate sponsors and the community in general," White said. "The students are excitedly presenting their projects to the judges, and we hope that everyone will make a special effort to come out and view the exhibits during the next few days."
Also contributing to the annual fair are Technology Coordinator Robert Schuster and Mathematics Coordinator Juanita Boneque.
