May 15, 2008 – Cleone M. Hewitt Durant, also known as "Cleo," of Estate Ruby, died on Sunday, May 11. She was 81 years old.
She is survived by her daughters, Celestine Durant; adopted, daughter, Diane Porter; grandchildren: Duane Kelly, Dana Gethers, Adrian K. Durant and Brandon Russell; and great-grandchild, Erika Browne. She is also survived by sisters: Rose Hewitt and Carole Delagado; nieces: Carol Hamilton, Brenda Harris, Christy Hewitt and Marie Hegedis; nephews: Jerry Harris, Allen Harris, Paul Jackson, Julian DeLagado and Larry John; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held from 10-10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, May 20, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at the Calverton National Cemetery in New York.
