May 19, 2008 – Fernando Bermúdez, also known as 'Nando," of Calquohoun died on Wednesday, May 14, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
He is survived by his spouse, Juanita Ventura Bermúdez; daugthers: Sarita Bermudez Ruiz, Dorcas B. Kidd and Noemi B. Ortiz; sons: Efrain, Joshua and Juan F. Bermúdez, and Luis Ivan; grandchildren: Moises, Maralyn, Carlos, Sarita, Rodney, Jose Manuel, Shamelly, Xoehilt, Pilar, Anthony, Kayde, Jeime, Brithney and Juan F. Jr.; and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters: Julia, Luz, Brunilda, Rosalia, Agustina, Juanita, Epifania, Ruth and Idalia; brother, Juan Bermudez Jr.; special friends: Samuel Jackson, Aurelio Morales, Jose Haywoodand Domingo Felix; cousins: Jose Bermudez and Ipolito Santiago; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held from 9-10 a.m., on Wednesday, May 21, at Pentecostal Church in Calquohoun, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
