May 30, 2008 – The St. Thomas-St. John Golf Association, in conjunction with the Mahogany Run Golf Course, will host the 2008 Hugh Smith Open Golf Tournament at Mahogany on June 7 and 8. This tournament is open to golfers with valid handicaps. The $125 tournament fee covers 36 holes of golf, a cocktail party and an awards banquet.
There will be men's "A" and "B" flights, a ladies' "C" flight and a combined men's and ladies' "Stableford" flight for handicaps over 23. There will be a "shot gun" start at 8:30am each day.
