Maryann E. Griles Dead at 67

Sept. 28, 2008 – Maryann E. Griles of Miami Shores, Florida, died on Sept. 21. She was 67 years old.
She is survived by her stepmother, Marina Griles; sisters: Sonia Griles, Dorene Griles-Vanputten and Inocencia Griles; brother, Isidore A. Griles Jr.; sister-in-law: Irene Griles; nieces: Zulma Vanputten, Deborah, Ruth Johnson; Jennifer, Amy Griles, Tikia Vanputten, Tara Williams-John and Arlene Coggins-John; great nieces: Kesiah and Keya John, Shanice McCorvey, Nysa Griles, Anyla Vanputten, Riana Vanputten and Shaunte' Baptiste; nephews: Raphael Vanputten, Kelson John Sr. and Kean John, Leroy, Dwayne, Daniel and Jeffrey Griles; and great nephews: Raphael Vanputten III, Keon, Keson and Kelson John, David Baptiste Jr., and Leroy and Ruben Daniel. She is also survived by special friends: Juanita Santiago, Zoraida Jacobs, Cecilia Knowles, Mitza Lampe and Mrs. Wizwall; and many other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
On behalf of the family of the late Maryann Griles, we would like to thank Dr. R. Lockrom, Dr. J Perez, Dr. Griffith and the staff at the Juan F. Luis Dialysis Unit, Human Service Nutrition Department and the staff from Vitran.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Juan F. Luis Hospital Dialysis Unit.
Funeral Services will take place at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Internment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
Professional funeral arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
