Andre' Armand Georges Ducrot Dies at 67

Oct. 23, 2008 – Andre' Armand Georges Ducrot died Oct. 17, at the age of 67. He leaves behind his loving wife Daniele; son, Oliver Ducrot; sister-in-law, Martine Tobschall; and many friends and family in France.
Andre and Daniele were the owners of Café Shelburne in Vermont for 20 years before moving to St. Croix in 1989 and opening Le Strand Café in Frederiksted. After Hurricane Hugo and a major fire destroyed their business, they preceded to open Le Crocodile and Le St. Tropez in 1990, which are still in business today.
Burial will be at sea. Friends and patrons are welcome to pay their respects and meet at the Frederiksted pier.
Professional funeral arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
