Oct. 28, 2008 – Adults interested in obtaining a high school diploma, a basic education curriculum, GED (General Education Diploma) preparation, courses in self- improvement, vocational classes or English as a Second Language (ESL) are informed that the Virgin Islands Department of Education provides several Adult Education Program opportunities, according to a press release from Dahlia Adams, principal of the Raphael Wheatley Skill Center and VI Career & Technical Institute.
"There are still limited spaces available at the various classes, and persons thinking about improving their lot in life are encouraged to register," Adams said.

Vocational Education: Carpentry: 9:45-11:20 a.m. and 1:45-3:10 p.m.
