Dear Source:
I would like to echo Frank Wiltse's words about Bagoon. Always a character, his trademark slogan "Mrs. O'Reilly's bouncin' baby boy…186 pounds of sexy joy"…. became ingrained in our heads like a song we cannot forget. Nor will we forget Bagoon. We worked together for the better part of 17 years at WSTX. We were all one big family with Bagoon, Doc James, Frank, Roy, Ruth, Joanne, Edna, Brother Woody, and Rafi. There were others but these names will always remain with me.
Thanks, Bagoon, for being a great teacher in the ways of a Crucian. I still tell stories to my students at Eastern Michigan University. So long friend.
