Alert: Teenage Girl from St. John Missing Since Monday

Dec. 10, 2008 — A 15-year-old St. John girl has not been seen since Monday morning, and police are asking people to be on the lookout for her.
Whitney Bess was discovered missing at 5 a.m. Monday by a parent. Her disappearance was reported to police Wednesday. Bess attends the Gift Hill School and frequently visits the Contant area on St. Thomas.
She has a dark complexion, stands 5'10" and weighs 200 pounds. She usually wears her straight, shoulder-length hair in a ponytail.
Anyone who sees or knows the whereabouts of Bess is asked to notify the Juvenile Bureau on St. Thomas at 715-5540, 715-5542 or 774-2211, ext. 5542, or call police emergency 911.
