The case is being followed up by the Criminal Investigation Bureau. Anyone having knowledge of this shooting can call detectives at 712-6033, 712-6077, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-TIPS
In recent cases, Police Commissioner Novelle Francis has urged residents who hear gunshots to call it in immediately whether or not they were involved, had seen anything or had any other knowledge of the case. Reports of gunshots with an approximate location, he has said, allows police to respond and perhaps find a shooting victim whose live might be saved by prompt treatment.
