Human Services Temporarily Relocates Office

The Department of Human Services’ offices for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) (formerly Food Stamp) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Family (TANF) program in Frederiksted have been relocated to the Frederiksted Government House Complex on Prince Street until further notice. Major air conditioning repairs in the Human Services offices are still in progress.

Services will be available at 8 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, March 18, at the Government House conference room located next to the main Government House offices left of the Prince Street Head Start. Clients are permitted to traverse through the Head Start gate to access the building. Rescheduled appointments will be retained.
The Golden Rock SNAP and TANF offices will be opened tomorrow at 8 a.m. The public is asked to report urgent matters and questions to 772-0068 in Frederiksted and 773-2323 in Golden Rock.
