Guardian I. Bazil Dies in Puerto Rico

Guardian I. Bazil Guardian I. Bazil, also known as "Butchie,” “Butch,” “Plug” or “Bazil," died on June 1 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kyon “Scrappa” Bazil.
He is survived by his wife, Veron Andrew Bazil; daughters: Ermine Bazil and Kimn Bazil; son, Leon “Spinks” Bazil; grandchildren: Asha, Ashley, Ashton Briscoe, Akeela Civil, Leonisha Bazil and Maliah Ortiz; great-grandson, Azahni Allen; adopted mother, Pricilla “Iris” Williams; adopted brothers: Milton and Malik Williams; adopted grandchildren: Tayel, Nashalee, Leamsi, Jason and Janisha; godchildren: Jason, Petersen, Ms. Bass and Amanda; and brothers: Martin, David and Deles (also known as Michael).
Other survivors include nieces and nephews: Verna Williams (also known as Raspoo), Elaine, Edith, Erma, Veramine, Aflin, Talitha, Keiva, Lindell, William, Anthony (also known as Ambo), Donatin and Joseph; other nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Reginald, Ashworth, Edmund, Maclean, Corintia, Corine, Nanan, Iola, Catherine, and other in-laws too numerous mention; special cousin-in-law, Conrad Andrew; and cousins: Stephen, Ann and Shana Henry, Kareem and Rudolph Bazil, Thora, Orin, and other cousins too numerous to mention.
Also surviving are special nephews: Rupert, Davidson and Cecil (also known as Bartley) Bazil; and special nieces: Bernadette Prospere (also known as Roseclair), Teresa “Brinelda” Telemaque and Judy Joseph. Other survivors include close families and friends: the Prevost, Lawrence, Henry, Bazil, Andrew, Telemaque, Hurtault, Austrie, Charles, Bannis, Williams, Burnette, Civil, Briscoe, Brooks, Lang, Dunstan, Wallace, Sanes, Ventura, Ramos, Ortiz, Quinones, Anthony, Nelson, Castor, Christmas, Sandy, Thomas, Samuel, Vigilant, Melendez, DuJon and Santiago families, Mr. St. Rose, James Charles Sr., Horace “Larry” Lawrence, Sonia Joseph, Rudolph Henry, Rupert, Ivaughn, Jhono, Conrad AP 10-4, Bull, Pepsi, Romain, Norma Christian, Leona James, Rock, Bernard, Keba, Allick James, Fargo, Bess, Jacob, Ambre, Gore, C & C, Triangle, the Merwin & Litwin crew, Yvette and the hemodialysis posse and crew, EMTs, Dr. Charles Perez, Dr. Khan, Maria and the Hima San Pablo posse in Puerto Rico, Juan F. Luis Hospital staff, The Grove Place, Williams Delight and Concordia Domino posse and crew; as well as other family members and friends too numerous to mention.
The family requests that everyone in attendance wear festive colors and bring a rose.
The celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday June 17, at the Bethel Methodist Church in Estate Two Brothers. The viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and the service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery. “Just A Rose Will Do.”
Arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home and Florist.
