Irma Marsh Dies at 102

Irma Marsh was the last surviving child of Harvey Monroe Marsh and Grace Penn. She was one of eight children and the twin sister to Leila Marsh. She worked in New York at Saks Fifth Avenue many years before retiring and returning home to Maho Bay, St. John, and her family.

Irma Marsh Caligione of St. John died on Nov. 8, at Schneider Regional Medical Center. She was 102.

Irma Marsh Caligione is survived by her son-in-law, Robert Looney; granddaughter, Cynthia Ruehle; great niece, Nelinda Nelson; great nephew, Valentino Nelson; and many other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, Nov. 29, at Bethany Moravian Church on St. John. Viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. immediately followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Emmaus Moravian Cemetery, Coral Bay, St. John.

Arrangements are under the care of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals and Cremation Center of St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
