Joseph Ezekiel Edwards, also known as “Joe Joe,” of Stapleton Village, St. Peters, St. Kitts and Estate Bovoni, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, died at his home on Tuesday, June 23.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel Edwards; and mother, Melvina Foxe.
He is survived by his wife, Ione R. Edwards; children: Mervill Richards (UK), Viola Edwards (N.Y.), Ricaldo Edwards (Ga.) and Walter Edwards (Mass.); eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 10, at Dan Hurley Home for Funerals and Cremation Center. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
Due to the global pandemic, coronavirus (COVID-19), and public health guidance, masks or facial coverings must be worn at all gatherings.
