Department of Finance Resolves Technical Glitch Causing Delay in Processing Employee Payroll

The Virgin Islands Department of Finance issued the following statement on a technical glitch that caused a delay in direct deposit payments to government employees on Thursday:

The Department of Finance has discovered and resolved a technical glitch early Thursday morning causing a slight delay in direct deposit payroll payments to government employees.

It apologizes for the inconveniences this delay may have caused and assure government employees will receive their direct deposit payments by noon.

The Bryan-Roach Administration is investing in the territory’s people, infrastructure and future through transparency, stabilizing the economy, restoring trust in the government and ensuring that recovery projects are completed as quickly as possible. Visit https://www.transparency.vi.gov.com
