V.I. Justice Department’s St. Thomas Main Office Remains Closed

The V.I. Dept. of Justice, St. Thomas office, located in the GERS building at 34-38 Kronprindsens Gade, remains closed due to a malfunction of the air conditioning unit in the Gers building, Attorney General Ariel Smith announced Wednesday.

GERS closed the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building on Tuesday due to the A/C malfunction.

All in-person services for the St. Thomas location are suspended until further notice. However, the DOJ staff continues to work remotely.

If you require immediate assistance, please feel free to call the office at 340-774-5666. All other DOJ facilities are open, including V.I. Dept. of Justice St. Croix at 213 Estate La Reine and the Paternity & Child Support offices on St. Thomas at 8000 Nisky Shopping Center and St. Croix at #3018 Orange Grove, Suite 4.
