Friends of Virgin Islands National Park will mark Sea Turtle Week, which begins June 8, World Ocean Day, and ends June 16, World Sea Turtle Day, with a number of events celebrating the beautiful endangered species in our waters.

On Thursday, June 12 starting at 7:30 p.m., Trivia Night at The Tap Room in Mongoose Junction, Cruz Bay, will be all about sea turtles.

There will also be a Happy Hour Fundraiser on Monday, June 16 at The Tap Room with St. John Brewers donating a percentage of draft beer sales to the Sea Turtle Protection Program. At the same time, a Turtle Table will be set up in Mongoose Junction outside of North Shore Deli for anyone wanting to know more about the program.
