Robert Wallace Wade Dead at 62

Robert Wallace Wade Robert Wallace Wade, better known as "Wallace Wade," of Mt. Pleasant died on June 9, at his residence. He was 62 years old.
He survived by his spouse: Jean Carty-Wade; sons: Wallen, Walton and Daren; grandchildren: Wallen Jr., Kyra Smalls, Wndell and Janiel Wade, Renisha and Tameka Wade, Darewthea and Dyvaun; great-grandchild, Korbin Smalls; sisters: Rosalind, Jane and Gwendolyn Wade, and Mary; brothers: Steve and Thomas Wade; and stepbrother, Thomas Greenaway. He is also survived by daughters-in-law: Shelly Ann and Nada Wade, and Althea Sweeney; sisters-in-law: Christine Carty-Nibbs and Erma Wade; brothers-in-law: Paul and Silas Carty; grandson-in-law, Kenny Smalls; nieces: Juliette Wade, Vandina, Andrea and Chinelle; nephews: Julian wade, Travis and Evrol; great nieces: Kadesha and Kianna Merler, Kaleema, Kwaniesha and Kenecia Wade, and Kesi Warner. Other survivors include cousins and other relatives Sylvia Dyer, the West family, Jane Jones and many others; special friends: George Bernard, Keithroy and Margaret Jacobs, Genevieve Edney, Elroy, employees of Hovensa, Joycelyn Francis, Cecile Auguste and family, Junie Allen, Josephine Harvey, Rosanne Shoy, Linda Jean and family; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 25, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
