Monica Idamay Warrington Willock Dies at 90

Monica Idamay Warrington Willock Monica Idamay Warrington Willock of Estate Tamarind died on June 11, at her residence. She was 90 years old.

She is survived by her sons: Rudolph Alfred, Leonard Andrew, Simpson Desbonnes and Lyndon Willock; daughters: Ann Claudia Sorhaindo (Lady Ann) and Beatrice York; brother, Ted Robin (Miami); grandchildren: Ima Xavier, Charmaine Alfred Davis (TX), Lisa and Steven Warner (Can),Gregory, Rodrigue, Dave, Danielle and Tamisha Andrew, and Marie Louise Andrew Bachelor, Rosanna, Rosaline, Rosabelle,
Rosalyne, Jason and Donny Sorhaindo, Vaughn Desbonnes (Korea), Kimberly Andrews Morcate (NJ), Emily and Mary Cromwell, Terry, Lynn and Nicholas Willock; and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces: Celia Everington, Ingrid Warrington (PA), Eudora Liburd, Joan Warrington (St. Martin), Evalina Warrington (Can), Geraldine and Christine Warrington (UK), Vincia and Margreta Warrington Neville (Dom), Gemma Robin Wilmot, Rosie Robin Johnson, Tecia Robin Johnson and Anna Robin; nephews: Cecil Everington, Carley Everington, Jason and Paul Warrington (UK), Dil and Kel Robin (Miami), Adalrick Warrington (CA), Ashley Warrington (Can), Aldridge and Kim Warrington (NY); daughters-in-law: Vincia Warner (Can), Jacqueline Desbonnes and Justina Joseph; special grandsons-in-law: Richard Morcate and Steve Bachelor; close cousin, Merie Baptiste; special friends: Marjorie Torres, Simonette Appleton and Olive Lecointe; as well as other family and friends too numerous to mention.
Heartfelt thanks to St. Ann’s Church, Sacred Heart Society, Deacon Arnold Helenese, Maria Jones and the staff of Continuum Care and Serenity Home Care for their loving care and attention.
There will be a viewing at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 18, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
All arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
