Janice Avilda Prince died on June 3, at the age of 43.
She survived by her daughters: Lisa, Shana and Janeek; sisters: Avilda, Ada and Lenis; brothers: Roy, Myron, Richard and Ruben; nieces: Akita, Tara, Chakima, Natasha, Sharica, Erica and Jeanette; great nieces: Selena and Carmen; nephews: Larry, Tony, Neil, Lowell, Steadroy, Hugo, Theodre Jr., Rudy and Keith; and great nephews: Cyril, Nathan, Vernon, Khaliid, Neqoun, Jahmoi, Megan, Michael, Matthew and Vince. She is also survived by aunts: Karen, Evon and Lorraine; uncle: Valdemar; cousins and other relatives: the Prince, Messer, James, Petersen, Campbell, Edwards, Barry and Miller families; special friends: May, Amalia, Cynthia, Gwendolyn, Erica, Marine, Lisa and Lessie; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 8 a.m. and a funeral service at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
