NATIONAL HOSPITAL WEEK OBSERVED LOCALLY

May 3, 2001–Eugene A. Woods, chief executive officer of Roy L. Schneider Hospital, announced today that National Hospital Week will be observed at the hospital from May 6 to 12 with the theme, "Caring People..People Caring."
Activities planned in observance of National Hospital Week include a religious program, an open house, employee talent show, and a week-end softball tournament at Griffith Park.
An "Employee of the Year" recognition ball will conclude the week beginning at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at Palm Courts Harbour View.
Zohrab Markarian, Karen Woods, Ruth Leonard, Serita Larcheveaux, Adeline Connor, and Veronica O'Brien Powell will be honored.
Music will be provided by the Starlites and tickets are $30.
In a press release, Woods stated the public is invited to join in the activities to recognize the dedicated and caring healthcare professionals at the hospital.
