WAPA Repairing Damaged Street Lights

Sept. 23, 2004 – The V.I. Water and Power Authority is alerting the public that St. Croix line crews are working daily until late at night to repair or replace streetlights damaged by the passing of Tropical Storm Jeanne. Once streetlights in Christiansted and Frederiksted towns and along Queen Mary Highway are repaired, crews will then move into other areas.
A WAPA press release asks for the safety of all line crews that motorists drive carefully around corners and curves in the roads, particularly at night.
