Arts Alive Presents the 26th Annual Summertime Arts and Crafts Festival

July 5, 2005 – Arts Alive's 26th Annual Summertime Arts and Crafts Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 23 and 24 at Tillett Gardens.
The festival will boast the arts and crafts of as many as 30 artists. We anticipate seeing jewelry, pottery, oil, water and acrylic painting, beaded artwork, plants, clothing, homemade hot sauces and pastries, student artwork and much more!
There will be a 15-minute candle-making demo by Jason of Caribbean Herbals at 2 p.m. Saturday. There will also be a raku demonstration by Ridvan Studio.
Included in the festivities will be Tillet Gardens' resident-artists featuring Kazooti Clay Studio's clay art, Ridvan Studio's handmade ceramic art, Alison's Wonderland pottery, Caribbean Herbals' candles, Tillett Gallery's silk screens and tropical home interior designs, THE HAND PAINT'D COMPANY's hand-painted clothing, glassware, silks and ornaments, and Babs & Coco's modern mosaics.
On Saturday and Sunday there will be live entertainment on the Tillett Gardens' stage. Burning Blazes steel band will be performing from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Food and drinks will be available at Jack's (Saturday and Sunday) and Grandma'z House (Saturday only). There's nothing quite like great food, great entertainment and great art, all in one place at one time.
To rent booth space or for more information, call 775-1929 or stop by the Tillett Gallery in Tillett Gardens.
