A.F.D Team Frederiksted Headquarters to Open July 14

July 11, 2006 – Sen. Adlah "Foncie" Donastorg announced that his Frederiksted, St. Croix campaign headquarters would open this week.
The A.F.D. Team Frederiksted Campaign Headquarters is located at No. 12 King Street, across from the Frederiksted Mall.
The headquarters will officially open at 7 p.m., on Friday, July 14 when Donastorg will formally present his running mate to the people of the Virgin Islands, according to a press release from the campaign headquarters.
"This individual has an extremely impressive record of public service and I can think of no better candidate for lieutenant governor," he said. "I have already determined that my lieutenant governor will play a more significant role than the lieutenant governors of the past, particularly in regards to the departments of Education, Health, and Human Services."
There will be a block party following the Lt. Governor's announcement with music by Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Nights.
"The A.F.D. Team will maintain a strong presence in Frederiksted so that we can hear from and involve our west end constituency," he said. "I want the people of Freedom City to know that a true revitalization of your community is at the forefront of our agenda."
The A.F.D. Team also has headquarters at Bassin Triangle in Christiansted, Mandela Circle on St. Thomas and Cruz Bay on St. John.
There will be an opportunity to meet the candidates over the weekend at rallies on St. Thomas and St. John and during a visit to Water Island.
The St. Thomas rally will be held beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 15 at Mandela Circle. Entertainment will be provided by Jam Band, Imaginations Brass and special guests to include King Derby, King Spade and the Mighty Pat.
The St. John rally will begin at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 16 at Cruz Bay Park, with entertainment by Wrecktion Band.
The A.F.D. Team plans to visit Water Island on Saturday afternoon.
"We are the candidates that truly represent all Virgin Islanders," Donastorg said. "We will be going into all the territory's neighborhoods and talking to Virgin Islanders about their concerns and how we plan to work to make things better, as we truly believe that you deserve better than what you are now getting from your government."
