The Modern Music Feature CD is Etta James's "The Definitive Collection," featuring all of Etta's hits as well as a number of her greatest album tracks. This is a great collection of essential blues and r&b recordings by an outstanding vocalist.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Suitable Disguise" by Texas singer-songwriter Michael Lille, whose new release was co-produced by Lloyd Maines and Paul Pearcy. Michael gets help from a number of outstanding artists on this CD, including Sara Hickman and Ruthie Foster.
We celebrate the birthdays of the late, brilliant songwriter Dave Carter, contemporary folk artist Erika Luckett, the late blues man Son Seals, and Texas artist Chris Gage. We also remember r&b artist Joe Tex on the anniversary of his death.

We also play music from Angela Strehli, the Lovin Spoonful, Tab Benoit, Dan Fogelberg, Marty Stuart and more.
