Travel Advisory for V.I. Air Departures

August 10, 2006 – Based on heightened security levels because of information received from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the following changes are in effect for all island airports.
Until further notice, passengers departing from Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas and Henry E. Rohlsen Airport on St. Croix can expect additional guidelines, including:
–no curb side parking;
–additional screening of passengers' personal items;
–no liquids, creams or gels allowed into check-point screening areas; these items must be placed in checked luggage;
–liquor must be checked in luggage; all hand carried liquor is prohibited.
