Chevron Caribbean Rewards Employees For Excellence

March 7, 2008 – Chevron Caribbean Inc. has awarded its Texaco airport service station in the Virgin Islands the Chevron Customer First Reward Program prize for excellence in customer service, performance, commitment and teamwork.
The employees of the service station received a $1,000 check as a reward for their commitment and dedication to providing area customers with high quality services, according to Chevron Caribbean Inc. Customers indicated a big improvement in the station's service quality compared to its 2006 and 2007 performances, according to a survey by the "Mystery Shopper."
Algernon Cargill, retail district manager for Chevron in the U.S.V.I., said, "Excellent customer service is the core of our commitment to service stations clients. The name 'Customer First' is a continuous reminder that customers are our first priority and deserve outstanding service to not only satisfy but exceed their expectations." Through this program, the company periodically surveys the quality of service provided to the community, assesses it and uses it to continuously improve the company's levels of customer service satisfaction and for its service stations to be recognized as first among their peers.
