Golden Anniversary Dinner and Dance Will Honor Marriages

March 7, 2008 – The University of the Virgin Islands Accounting Association is holding a Golden Anniversary Dinner and Dance to honor the lifelong marriage commitments of ten couples on St. Thomas and St. John. The event will be held at 7 p.m., on Sunday, March 30, at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort. The P'Your Passion Band will provide the entertainment.
The honorees are George and Erleen January (St. John), Lloyd S. Gardner and Dr. LaVerne E. Ragster, Irad and Andina Ruan (Oliver Exterminating), Dr. Edward and Christiana Saunders, Adrian Bishop and Rosalie Dance, Alberto and Ethelyne King (Winnie's Day Care), Theodis and Dr. Angela McGhee, Othniel and Vivian Vanterpool, Bernard and Eunipha Douglas, and Wingrove H. and Muriel I. Fenton.
Tickets are $75 in advance and $90 at the door. They can be purchased from Modern Music, VI Bridal and Tuxedo or by contacting the UVI Accounting Association. Proceeds will benefit the association's Study Abroad Program.
