Alert: Expect Slowdowns Exiting Airport for Next Two Days

May 13, 2008 – Traffic exiting the Cyril E. King Airport Wednesday and Thursday will be reduced to one lane while the V.I. Port Authority replaces the exit parking booths.
VIPA is upgrading the parking systems, a statement from the authority said.
Motorists should expect some delays in leaving the airport while this work is being completed, particularly during the peak hours of airport traffic from noon to 4 p.m.
The construction work affects only the exit lanes from the Cyril E. King Airport. Vehicular traffic on the main airport road will not be impacted.
