Classes at The University of the Virgin Islands will take place on the St. Thomas campus this evening as scheduled. The university is functioning on generator power.
UVI faculty and administrators are asking students who must travel to classes this evening to exercise caution on the roads, as many street lights are not working.
As Dec. 4 is the last day of classes for the semester, these last few days are crucial for most students, who have already missed valuable class time due to Hurricane Omar.
