Laura Laudat Dies at 30

Dec. 8, 2008 – Laura Laudat, also known as "Kiddy," of Estate Granard, former secretary of the Dominica football association and student of the Cameron University in Oklahoma, died on Dec. 2, at her residence. She was 30 years old.
She is survived by her father, Thadius Laudat; mother, Rita Laudat; grandmother, Celia John; great-grandmother, Olive Collier; grandfather, Matthew S. Prosper; brothers: Lincoln, Vincent, Lee, Larry and Dwayne Laudat; sister, Beverly Noel; and sister-in-law. Monica Laudat. She is also survived by uncles: Stanley Prosper, Vincent, Lambert, Lewis, Vernon, Weiver, Antoine, Ivo, Collins and Denis; aunts: Jennifer John Shillingford, Kathleen, Deborah, Evell, Anette, Marvo, Garlina, Aquida, Betty and Marie Prosper, Paula, Bernice Prosper and Janette; special friends: Ronald Smith, Austin Andre, Melinda and Centelle, Erickson Christopher, Nalda Rodney, Pastor Jackie Kambui, Pastor Hypolite, Dominica, Noreen Jules, Douglas Nelthrop; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., on Friday, Dec. 12, at Frederiksted Church of the Nazarene, in Williams Delight. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
