Sharon Maureen Hewitt Dies at 58

Feb. 4, 2009 – Sharon Maureen Hewitt of Estate Rattan died on Jan. 31, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 58 years old.
She is survived by her mother, Alicia James Hewitt; sisters: Laurel Hewitt-Sewer, Shelbourne Hewitt and Janet Smiley; brothers: Delbert, Sebert Jr., Hainsley, Ronald, Glenn and Vaughn Hewitt; nieces: Nataha, Renee, Ohrea, Anissa, Cherise, Deidra, Deneisha, Lynnell, Tatyana, Tiana and Sanay; and nephews: Delbert Jr., Glenn Jr., DeShaun, Oswin Jr., Zaid, Khary, Khalim, Nathaniel and Robert. She is also survived by aunts: Leola Malone, Vasti Mapp, Albertha Akins, Priscilla Malone, Grisilda Pender, Almira Harris and Janest Schrader; uncles: Abraham Hewitt, Albert Hewitt, Theophel James and Leslie James; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Bethel AME Church. Interment will follow at the Estate Rattan.
