Habitat for Humanity Holds Fundraiser for Seniors in Need of Home Repairs

Habitat for Humanity of the Virgin Islands will host the Golden Touch fundraising kick-off and jewelry auction from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, at the St. Peter Mountain Great House. The public is invited to help promote hope for seniors to enjoy their golden years by sponsoring efforts to modify the homes of those who live in poverty and are homebound. Buy a golden tool, offer expertise in home building, or adopt a senior while enjoying a plated lunch, live musical entertainment and a silent jewelry auction. Tickets are $30, and are available at VI Bridal and Tuxedo Center in Tutu Park Mall.

For more information, call Christine Robinson at 714-5678 or e-mail director@habitat.vi.
