According to police, a man was shot Wednesday evening near the Market Square East shopping center in Estate Donoe.
Police were dispatched to Schneider Regional Medical Center at 10 p.m. to investigate a reported gunshot victim.
The man reported being in Estate Donoe – near the Market Square East shopping center – when he heard rapid gun fire and realized he was shot. The victim was treated for a gunshot wound to the right thigh and released.
