Man on St. Thomas Arrested for Domestic Violence

A man on St. Thomas was arrested on Sunday for domestic violence, police say.

Eliasib Vias-Marcial, 34, allegedly struck a former female acquaintance in the face several times with his fist, causing the victim injury.

No bail was granted as per order of the Court. Vias-Marcial was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing.

This case is currently under investigation. Anyone with information about this crime can notify the Domestic Violence Bureau at 340-774-2211 Ext. 5536.
