Man Shot in Round de Field on St. Thomas

A St. Thomas man, while enjoying himself in Round de Field, was shot Saturday, the V.I. Police Department reported.

VIPD spoke to the victim, who said he was enjoying a drink when the gunman walked up to him and shot him in the chest. The victim said he then drove himself home and was later transported via a private vehicle to the hospital, where he has been hospitalized for his injuries, according to the police report.

The case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
