VIPD: Woman Found Unresponsive by Boyfriend at Their Residence

A man on St. John found his girlfriend unresponsive on the floor of their residence Tuesday, the V.I. Police Department reported.

VIPD was notified of a person who was dead on arrival at the Myrah Keating-Smith Clinic on St. John on Tuesday, according to the press release.

According to the police report, a man left a local bar to check on his girlfriend at their residence. Upon his arrival, he discovered her on the floor. With assistance from a friend, the man was able to get the woman to a nearby vehicle and transport her to the clinic. Once at the clinic, CPR was rendered and 911 was notified, the report stated. However, the woman succumbed to her ailment, it said.

The woman was identified by her boyfriend as 42-year-old Jamie Cail from New Hampshire, police said.
