Man Assaulted By Several Assailants on St. John, Police Say

A man was allegedly assaulted by multiple assailants on St. John Sunday, the V.I. Police Department reported.

VIPD detectives were made aware of an assault in the area of Jacob’s Ladder around 7:59 a.m., according to the police report.

Around 1:02 a.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to the area of Jacob’s Ladder about a report of a man who appeared to have been struck by a vehicle. Upon their arrival, contact was made with a Caucasian man who had sustained multiple injuries about his body after being assaulted by multiple individuals. The man was then transported to the Schneider Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, the police report stated.
