Two Robbed and Vehicle Stolen at Gunpoint on Dorsch Beach

A man reported that he was allegedly robbed at gunpoint by two men on a St. Croix beach Friday, the V.I. Police Department reported.

The victim told officers that while he was speaking with a female friend outside of his
vehicle on Dorsch Beach, they saw two men dressed in all dark clothing as they
approached them with guns drawn. The suspects demanded his wallet, the woman’s
purse and his android cell phone. The suspects drove off in the victim’s gray 2017 Toyota Highlander, bearing plate number CHG-089 and both victims’ personal belongings, according to the police report.

The victims described the suspects as being about 5’2” in height, short, slim Black
males and they appeared to be teens, the police report stated.

This case is under investigation and VIPD asks if anyone sees a gray 2017 Toyota Highlander bearing license plate CHG-089 to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau Tipline at (340) 778-4850.
