This week the U.S. Marshals Service has asked us to feature the following story in an effort to find a fugitive believed to be on St. Croix. If you know something, say something.
J’wa Charlery, a 19-year-old black male who goes by the street name “Balla,” is wanted on first degree murder charges stemming from an incident in Virginia on Nov. 2, 2014. Charlery allegedly shot a female at a hotel in Richmond and is now believed to be in St. Croix. Charlery is 6 feet tall and weighs 160 pounds. If you have seen him or know of his whereabouts, please let Crime Stoppers know.
It is a crime to harbor a fugitive.
