Department of Health Reports Territory’s 25th COVID Death

 

After further investigating the cause of death and ensuring notification of next of kin, the V.I. Department of Health reported via press release on Wednesday the territory’s 25th death related to COVID-19. The deceased is a 76-year-old male on St. Croix.

The department continues to work to slow the spread of COVID-19, according to the press release. Health urges these precautionary measures: stay at home, practice social distancing, wear a mask when in the company of others outside of those in your household, clean frequently used areas thoroughly and wash your hands often with soap and warm water.
