Man’s Fatal Fall from Hotel Balcony Under Investigation

 

The V.I. Police Department is investigating after a man fell from a balcony and died Wednesday night at the Marriott Frenchman’s Cove in Estate Bakkeroe, St. Thomas.

Police responded to a 911 call at 9:07 p.m. about a man falling off the balcony, according to a VIPD press release.

When police arrived, they reportedly met with the Emergency Medical Technicians who were treating the man, identified as 24-year-old Reshad F. Hoque. However, he had succumbed to his injuries, the release stated. The cause of death is pending the Medical Examiner’s findings, it said.
