Two men of three have been arrested on St. Croix for the rape of a 13-year-old girl, the V.I. Police Department reported.

On Dec. 3, the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of a rape that occurred in the Christiansted area where multiple adult males had sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl, police said. The men made contact with the child on social media and made arrangements to meet her, at which time they had sexual relations with her on different dates, times, and locations, according to the police report.

An investigation was assigned to the Criminal Investigation Bureau and it was revealed that three men shared the child sexually, the police report stated.

A warrant was sought and obtained for all three men. On Friday, at 9:15 a.m., 18-year-old Ajani Nicholas and 20-year-old Kevin Nicholas were arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated rape. Their bail was set at $75,000. They were subsequently transported to the John Bell Correctional Facility pending their advice of rights hearing on Monday at the V.I. Superior Court, police said.
