The V.I. Police Department on Sunday identified two of the three men who died in three separate shootings that took place Friday afternoon and night.

The police did not suggest the three incidents were in any way connected, sending out separate news releases on each incident. The VIPD recorded a news briefing on the day of violence and posted it on the department’s Facebook page.

The first incident took place at approximately 2:51 p.m., Friday, at Coki Point. Officers found a man who had received multiple gunshot wounds. The victim in that case was taken to the Schneider Regional Medical Center by ambulance and was reported Friday to be in serious condition. There has been no update on his condition since then.

At approximately 6:27 p.m., Friday, officers responded to a report of a man down in Estate Fortuna near the food van. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found an unresponsive Black male with a gunshot wound. The male victim was identified as Donald George, age 38 of Estate Fortuna. He was declared dead upon arrival by emergency medical technicians.

At approximately 11:20 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center was contacted by a concerned citizen who reported hearing multiple shots being fired and a male down in Smith Bay. At the scene, officers found two gunshot victims in the area.

The first male victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds about his body. Emergency medical technicians on the scene checked the male for vitals and discovered that he did not have any signs of life.

The man was identified by family members as 42-year-old Camille W. King Jr.

The second male victim also suffered multiple gunshot wounds about his body. He was transported to the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center via ambulance for treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries a short time later. The identity of this victim is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.

St. Thomas/St. John District Chief of Police Steven Phillip encouraged the community to come forward with information. He urged anyone with information about these incidents to contact police by calling 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211, or the anonymous tip service Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-8477 (1-800-222-TIPS).

Reports to Crime Stoppers that help resolve a crime can earn the caller an anonymous cash reward.

Loving and trusting someone is such a risk and i don't wish any woman to be in the same shoes as i was sometime back when I caught my husband red-handed with my own best friend in our own bed. I couldn't believe it when I saw it and my heart started beating so fast and felt like my body is shaking then I ran straight to my elder sister's house. I cried so much and my sister left me to cry and told me it would help ease the pain I was feeling. Then she sat me down and asked me if I still love my husband and I told her yes of course, and she told me that we all learn and grow through mistakes and no one is perfect and told me that if I wanted my man back I should fight for him and never trust friends again. My sister told me to contact profisma+27783320386 who had helped her husband with financial issues and told me he will help me bring my man back. It took me weeks to think about it because we come from a strong religious background but things worsened because I could not even concentrate at work and i got fired, and after that, i remembered what my sister had told me about consulting with him. That's when I contacted him and told everything, he listened, and told me that he will solve all my problems in 48 hrs. Since it was my first time doing this, i could not believe his words just like that but i had to wait until the time he had promised. I was asked to buy materials to help me which I did, we begun the prayer and results were delivered in three days. My husband called me and asked me where I was, and he came straight to me and confessed how my best friend seduced him, and he was sorry to fall into her trap and showed me all the messages my best friend was sending to him and promised never to see her again and promised to love me and only me. That evening he took me to a romantic dinner, Since prophet isma helped me, I got a better paying job than the previous one, my husband is back to the old man I used to know and he loves me so much and does everything to see that am happy. Thank you so much prophet, your spells indeed work. If you're going through struggles, you can text him on WhatsApp +27783320386 or call him
